Vito Sardano
Biography
Vito Sardano was born in Monopoli in 1948, where he lives and works. Sardano's language is an original language, created from objects researched and selected as part of his work as an industrial designer, as defined by Giorgio Di Genova and Pierre Restany. Since 1980, he has regularly exhibited his works in prestigious group and individual exhibitions and is included in public and private collections, notably the municipal collection of Monopoli (Bari), the "G. Bargellini" museum of the Italian generations of the 20th century in Pieve di Cento (Bologna), the Allotropya Museum of Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art in Antikyra (Greece), the LIMEN Museum of Contemporary Art of the Vibo Valentia Chamber of Commerce, the PAN Palazzo delle Arti Museum in Naples and many more others still. In 2007, Giorgio Di Genova, critic and art historian, included an extensive in-depth study of his artistic production in the book entitled "Art History of the 20th Century Generations in the 1940s".
