Biography
Born in 1976 in Paris, he left Roissy-en-brie at the age of 5 for Gap (Hautes Alpes).
He discovered graffiti in the 1980s while taking Parisian suburban trains during his numerous visits to the region.
After a few attempts in the early 1990s, he began to paint seriously in 1995. In 1996 he arrived in Marseille to join a school of applied arts.
There he met many artistic people, graffiti artists, painters, illustrators...
Numerous collaborations with regional stakeholders followed.
At the time, Just intrigued and questioned his contemporaries with his lettering, which gave him a particular identity, particularly with his 3D letters. A style mixing profoundly old school, futuristic and new school influences.
In 2003, he returned to his hometown, Paris, and settled there. He first painted there alone, then some connections were made with other graffiti artists. He painted numerous frescoes there, and made many meetings and friends there.
Since then, Just has been part of the decor of Parisian fields, has painted with many of today's active people and has participated in various artistic events throughout France.
At 47 years old, he is a graffiti artist confirmed by his peers and recognized for the value of his productions. Since 2015 he has abandoned legal graffiti areas and strives to find and clear new walls, most often blank, in order to bring real meaning to his approach as a graffiti artist.
Today and after 29 years of graffiti, he returns to us on canvas after an absence of 7 years where he devoted himself to his profession as Artistic Director in visual communication.
He brings us a more plastic and sometimes semantic approach to graffiti. His idea is to capture a gesture, very spontaneous, aggressive and plastic, and to make it into something complex and worked. A lover of word games, he uses language and writing as a support to work on graphic materials. The result gives him his own identity with a unique style and technique of which he has the secret, full of graffiti, contemporary and plastic vibrations. Its goal is not to reproduce its lettering on canvas, but to bring a real creative approach to this noble medium.
