Micky Pulong
Biography
From his childhood, his passion for drawing and colors never left him. At 16, he won second prize for young talents in his first painting competition in Salies de Béarn. In 1992, he exhibited for the first time as a self-taught painter alongside the works of Pierre Lansalot in the South West of France, reinforcing his passion for art. In 1998, he moved to Montmartre, in Paris, where he rubbed shoulders with the local artistic community. At the same time, he studies Vietnamese in Paris Jussieu and is passionate about Asian arts and cultures. His travels to Southeast Asia and Indonesia enrich his multicultural perspective. In Hanoi, he discovered drawing with Indian inks, the simplicity and strength of the lines of which now influence some of his work.
