I was born on February 1, 1983 in the North of France.
Very early on, I became interested in the world of entertainment, writing and cinema in particular.
I studied arts and cinema at different universities (Valenciennes, Lille and Paris 8)
I was influenced by plural artists in their practices like Chris Marker, both a writer, photographer and filmmaker.
After my studies, I wanted to return to my region to reveal “other images" far from certain “clichés".
I have directed with great determination and self-employment several short films, music videos and a medium-length docu-fiction.
My film projects have sometimes benefited from financial support from the Hauts de France region.
My first personal photographic exhibition entitled "Serenity, sketch of an imaginary landscape" takes up photographic work over a long period around a particular landscape of the region, the "flat" slag heap of Argales.
I photographed this place in different seasons over a period of 7 years (2007-2014) to question the contemporary image of this mining heritage.
This landscape shaped by humans and resulting from the industrial revolution is today in the midst of natural change and is also subject to climate change.
These photographs, memories of the place, attempt to reveal the beauty and fragility of this landscape to encourage people to take care of it.
In 2024, I have decided to offer in limited edition and on a high quality support (chromaluxe) my photos as art prints (numbered, signed) so that you can enjoy them at home for a lifetime!
