Biography
The artist Atanas Marincheshki was born on 03.04.1965 in Kostievo village, Plovdiv region, Bulgaria. There are over twenty solo exhibitions. His paintings are owned by private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Greece, White and more. He lives and works in the village of Kostievo.
Marincheshki's painting is distinguished for its sophisticated elegance and finesse. And although the artist's style is considered hyperrealism, his paintings are not a photographic sealing of reality, but possess a philosophical charge, depth and reflection on the world.
Winter landscapes are a nostalgic look at the beauty and charm of whiteness that seems to cover the earth in the hope of making us better and more understanding. The sea is also one of the creator's favorite objects and the seascapes present it in all its manifestations. Whether the stormy waves violently break in the rocky shore or the sea gently caresses the sunset, the excitement is intense.
Years ago Marinceski painted more surrealistic paintings, but for several years he has focused on landscape. Marinecki is convinced that the artist needs to change. He is one of the artists who are constantly looking for something new to express their emotions. He says to himself: "I like artists who like to experiment and I've never been afraid to take one direction or another. Life around us is so interesting, there are so many things that can touch you, but not everyone has eyes to see them. This is why the artist is different from the others - he has eyes to see the invisible and recreate it on the canvas."
