Biography
Born in Brussels in 1962.
Trained in painting (day course) and sculpture (evening course) at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Liège, she took up brushes in 2011 to give her work a look that is both intimate and deeply involved in themes feminists (or at the very least feminine); these have only asserted themselves since then, without giving his work a rhetorical aspect. In fact, sensitivity takes precedence above all else in Cynthia Evers' work: sensitivity to the setting, to light, sensitivity to others and to oneself, concern for a job well finished.
His predilection for the hands is a way of not "sexing" the attributes of contact, the expression of tenderness: "By playing on an ambiguity between female hands / male hands, I open the door to gender equality, the right of everyone to do what they want, whether the activity is female or male ".
