Christophe Beaufront (Rodolph)

The gesture, the touch are the starting points of my work. I like to describe space, to confront the elements: earth, plaster, glass, cement. The forms are born under my hand, they become sensual, round, light, become ample, respond to each other, the body then appears which becomes dense, unfolds and moves in the space that built it. The curve is essential in the sculptural work, a guarantee of fullness and balance.
