Beatriz Moya
Biography
Since 1998, Beatriz Moya has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad. Holder of a Master II in Plastic Arts from the University of Paris I - La Sorbonne and the Martenot Plastic Arts Teaching Diploma, she is also a member of the Taylor Foundation.
Born in Paris of Spanish parents, Beatriz Moya's universe explores a world of light and passion. The artist creates works nourished by both cultural and personal references. Beatriz Moya addresses the viewer with her own vision of life, both harmonious and humanistic: she delivers a gestural painting where two human fundamentals, life and death, intersect.
Winner of the First Prize for Plastic Arts in June 2011 awarded by the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in France and the "Colegio de Espana" in Paris, her work is based on the otherness of each artist who seeks to challenge the viewer. If Lorca used to say that beauty is life, kindness, serenity and passion, it is clear that the painter delivers in this singular and personal work the very incarnation of what beauty should be according to the Spanish poet, while accompanying it with a definitely contemporary vision - Ombeline Duprat.
