Biography
Born in Paris in 1948.
Studied at Atelier Met in Penninghen then at the Ecole Supérieure des Métiers d'Art in Paris.
Founding member of the France Illustrations group (1985).
Lecturer in drawing at the School of Graphic Art (ESAG) from 2005 to 2017.
Since 1998, lives and works in Touraine.
Painting is a vehicle for emotions. What the words do not say, the drawing tells us. Always faithful to narrative images, I advance in search of this poetry hidden in the shadows, revealed in the light that our gaze casts on things.
In this chiaroscuro, everything balances between fun, astonishment and derisory. It is a questioning, a way to leave the shore, a boarding for Kythera always started again.
" I have discovered in my practice that what I feel as poetic happens by surprise, in the random and the unfinished. The drolatic is hidden in the drama, sensuality is born in hunger and thirst. These incongruous oxymorons spice up our lives and give fragrance to the air we breathe. "
