The drawing is the place given to the essential. The drawing is inhabited with infinite richness thanks to the simplicity of the material: a sheet and a pencil, nothing more. The primary impetus which links the artist's most spontaneous feelings to the work is preserved. Uncluttered and therefore freer, the artist is linked to what he creates in a form of humility where only the essential remains. We then touch her privacy in what she believed most. The line is pure when it is untied, precise. It is more inhabited when it is nervous and spontaneous until it becomes surface if the line is repeated at will. Hatching and filling then create a model where light likes to land. For this exhibition devoted only to drawing, the work of 3 artists is presented: Hervé Delatouche, Alexandre Moulis and Menachem Gueffen.
