
Biography
AGNIESZKA ZAWISZA studied at the painting department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She graduated in 2000 with honors in the painting workshop of Professor Rajmund Ziemski and in lithography in the workshop of Professor Władysław Winiecki. She also obtained her doctorate in the field of fine arts at the Lodz Art Academy in 2019 under the guidance of Professor Aleksandra Gieraga. Numerous personal exhibitions and frequent participation in collective exhibitions testify to his active professional approach as an artist and member of the artistic community.
She is co-author of the multimedia project Matkopolko on the condition of the mother-artist in contemporary society. In his artistic activities, his interest in the motif of water, free space and above all landscape, first seen briefly and then reinterpreted on canvas, manifests itself in various ways. To create his pictorial message of surrounding reality, the artist uses effects obtained through formal experiments, including various ways of applying paint that is poured, printed, layered - opaque and transparent.
