Antoine Pauthe

Born in Paris, Antoine has been painting since childhood. Subjugated by the atmosphere of the Landes coast and definitely inhabited by its special lights so bewitching and as if out of time, it is there that he settles to tend towards the development of his painting.

A school teacher, he divided his time between his two passions: painting and transmission. Now retired from National Education, Antoine has devoted himself fully to painting since 2018, always faithful to the approach he has chosen: getting out of reality to better restore emotion.

"I abandon any idea of figuration in my paintings. All that remains is the reassuring balance of the construction serving the vibration of light, through games of colored harmonies and texture or material effects".
