Biography
Cesar Biojo is a Colombian artist, born in 1981.
After his studies, he did his PHD at the Barcelona University, before joining the Fine Arts Florida University in 2005.
His painting is a mix of creation and destruction. He makes portraits, nudes most of the time, and does it with perfection. Once this ideal is achieved, he destroys them with spatula strokes and cracks. He moves from figurative art to abstraction in his creation process, making room for perfect imperfection.
Through these stages, he shows transience perfection which he himself creates, fragility of Man who evolves in interlacing ephemeral moments.
His work is mainly represented in Spain, U.S.A but also abroad.
