The “Corpus” exhibition presents unpublished photographs by Vincent Descotils and Jean-François Lefranc celebrating the young woman, eternal muse. These poetic images transport us to the edge of Fairy Tales, where women are still children, threatened by becoming. Vincent Descotils flirts with pictorialism and opens the doors to a dreamlike universe tinged with black, capturing the young woman in a dream, relaxed or in motion. A whole enigma is played out between dogs and wolves. Jean-François Lefranc caresses the whiteness of the body and his contemporary eye revisits the Masters of classical Painting through a sumptuously orchestrated staging and a subtle palette. As masters of photography, each of them sublimates this tender and fragile beauty, timeless… “The space of the image is as narrow as a sheet of paper. I write a derisory ritual in the form of an inner journey. As in a child's game with uncertain limits, I trace a course made up of initiatory trials, strewn with pitfalls and makeshift objects. In this game of mirrors with unusual and tormented outlines, the world switches between poetry and reality and invites itself into our dreams without uproar or uproar. ". - Vincent Descotils
