The Mouvements naturelles series is the result of four years of work around the naked body, through the technique of double exposure silver without any digital editing. The aim of the series is to obtain an aesthetic, singular and sensual rendering that can awaken the senses and the conscience.
With this series, I am talking about the essential link between man and nature. By the analogy offered by the ghostly and dreamlike rendering of the double exposure, I show the beauty of the energy which associates two living elements.
These photographs are the result of a long process: first of all the meticulousness of the shooting of natural elements, then the meetings with dancers, choreographers or even musicians, all of this mixed with my personal experiences such as than Yoga or Martial Arts. The goal is to capture the energy of the movement of nature in symbiosis with that of dance.
It took me several years to achieve a good balance between the two shots, indeed it is quite complicated with this technique that two photos are paired and harmonize correctly to obtain the right framing or the right lighting. .
This technique gives me the impression that a successful photo is more valuable than if it had been created with editing software.
Intuition, patience and surprise took a big place in the realization of this project, so the mystery of the overprint allows me analogy, free interpretation and an openness to luck. This series of photographs is therefore the outcome of a mixture between control and letting go, decision-making and chance.

Born in 1989, Meïdhy Bichon is a French photographer passionate about the desire to capture sensitive moments and transmit their different emotions and sensations. He makes it a point of honor to capture in images the beauty of the world around us, to share his ideas, his dreams and his stories.
In order to transcribe faithful and natural shots, the young photographer refrains from retouching, cropping or changing the exposure of his silver photos; on the other hand, he allows himself more freedom when working digitally.
To do this, he essentially uses a photosensitive film camera for the link he creates with his user: a need for concentration and calm more important than in digital is necessary in order to obtain the desired rendering.
According to Mr. Bichon, the random aspect of film, which no longer exists with digital technology, makes each image more meaningful: no electronic processing is applied to the photo, the play of shadows and lights is essential. Can I negotiate the price of an artwork?
For some artworks, you can negotiate the price. If the price of the work is negotiable, you have a “Make an offer” button under the “Buy this work” one.
To submit your offer, you must make a payment of the desired amount. Your offer will then be forwarded to the gallery, which reserves the right to accept or reject it. If your offer is accepted, it means that your order is confirmed by the gallery and they will prepare the artwork for shipment. Where can I have my order delivered?
Artsper delivers worldwide!
However, please note that once your order reaches its destination, it may be subject to VAT or other customs fees. These charges are beyond our control and you will be responsible for paying them (this is indicated at the ‘checkout’ first step).

Return and cancellation

In the case that the right of withdrawal is exercised in the aforementioned time frame, the price of the artwork(s) purchased and the shipping costs will be reimbursed by us as soon as the gallery has received the artwork and notified us.
