" THE GENESIS "
TEXT BY JEAN D'ORMESSON
“The discovery of your illustrations picturing my words gave me a mystical shock! "Jean d'Ormesson confessed to me when he discovered the 50 gouache watercolors interpreting certain key passages from his book:" God, his life, his work ".
What a “mystical shock", did I not receive either when reading his text recounting these immemorial times before the appearance of Adam and Eve! Or "the All and the Nothing were one ..." governed by the motionless Love of God, and what will follow.
Illustrations which were therefore the subject of this book entitled "La Genèse", which Jean d'Ormesson will have defined as being a "novel of the Eternal".
