Elfrid Auvray

Born in 1970, Elfrid spent her childhood near Angers. Its origins, both Sicilian and Swedish, are expressed through an original personality. Coming from a family of artists including the famous Lyonnais sculptor Frédéric Lemot ( Henri IV Monument on the Pont Neuf in Paris, Louis XIV Place Bellecour in Lyon, Fronton of the Louvre Palace ...), Elfrid is immersed in this artistic universe of the 'Anjou in the Nantes region, between land and sea. During his university studies in geography, Elfrid sharpened his sense of observation. She enjoys reading landscapes that she maps and diagrams in color.

" The illusions of Elfrid " or " the extended imagination " are a set of paintings where the imagination of each guides the reading of his paintings made in an assumed spontaneity.

An abstract style bordering on figurative. This set brings together some thirty “ IMAGINAIRE EXTENDED ” works exhibited in various galleries in Paris, La Baule, & Les Sables d'Olonne.
