In 2023, with ten years of experience as an artist and then director of a Parisian gallery, Hamza Djelassi created HD Galerie — the acronym of his first and last name — in order to break down the barriers that persist between the world of post-graffiti , street art, modern art and contemporary art. The exhibition space, for Hamza Djelassi, is a place of dialogue between families of artists, visitors and collectors. Its artistic direction, inspired by the passion for creation, is born from the encounter with an artist, a work, an artistic approach. Because the choice of the artists he represents — and whom he never limits to a single medium, aesthetic or generation — resides in their human qualities, in their common values, in their passionate relationship to art. In order to create new affinities between generations of artists, HD Galerie extends its activities to the secondary market, with works by Pierre Soulages or Banksy (to name but a few). It is a question of intertwining looks, from modern to contemporary, from urban space to the gallery, because its ambition is housed in a tenacious desire to contribute to greater accessibility of art and to diversify the faces of collectors “Crossing the threshold of the Gallery and acquiring a work of art should be within everyone's reach,” says its director. HD Galerie can be found at various international fairs and by appointment. - In 2023, after ten years of experience as an artist and then as the director of a Paris gallery, Hamza Djelassi created HD Gallery - an acronym of his first and last name - to break down the barriers that still exist between the world of post -graffiti, street art, modern art and contemporary art.
