The heroes of the philosophical tale: "Once upon a time, there was the comitive".
It is through the questioning dear to Socrates that they understood how to defeat the machines that had taken control of the modern world to plunge humanity into the era of acceleration:
The machines, just like the systems, hate the phenomena of vibrations, they need stability to extend their powers, or the color is a vibration, when it is entered in the field of vision of a person it creates great emotions, in the field of vision of a machine it is transformed into mathematical formula which become pixels.
When the market of Art speaks only of figures and records more extravagant than the others, it would be good to remember that it is the emotions that the works of the great painters provoked in the heart of the public that made them great masters and not a policy of figures cleverly conducted ...
Marc Ferrero is a French contemporary painter who brings painting into the 21st century by creating the STORYTELLING ART movement:
The movement revolves around 3 basic principles:
The creation of painted fictions with a perfect mastery of oil painting, the manipulation of framing by integrating the cinematographic techniques of storytelling and the fusion of graphics, pictorial movements then become tools in the service of the narrative.
Styles, techniques, pictorial movements, eras are superimposed to compose an overall narrative a work of "storytelling art".
The characters are recurrent, the heroes embody a protest against the dark side of the world.
The heroes form the rebel network the Comitive:
Lisa L'AVENTURA: American banker/monegasque who despite her glamorous appearance is a well-known businesswoman in the heart of the financial center of Wall Street, she is at ease in the trading rooms but also on the red carpet of Cannes or in the front row of the Fashion Weeks around the world. She is the "brain" of La Comitive. She is a Lucky Number. High IQ. Queen of metamorphosis.
Andrew Michael PERCIVAL (DUKE): Englishman, trader for 10 years, he made his fortune, lost everything and disappeared, today he is the most wanted man by the city of London, night poker player and jazz lover, he puts his many talents at the service of La Comitive. Has a mathematical eye.
Marcello Di Cordoba (CELLO): Argentinean, professional polo player, jet setter, raised in a circus, leader of a band of "gauchos". Known in South America for his fight against financial crimes, a sort of modern-day Robin Hood. Master of timing, left for dead after a reprogramming to enter the Fast Life.
The dark side is represented by the World of Acceleration led by Lord True Love.
The nerve center is located in the floating cities which are accessed through a tube interspersed with safe doors.
Its members are part of the Fast Life: multi-faceted beings, lucky numbers, robotic creatures (e.g. monkey droners), banksters: its secret police.
The painter plays with the shots like a film director, mixing genres, techniques and ideas while seeking a point of balance in his paintings that makes his work a moving whole in which the viewer becomes an actor and enters the story through his own interpretation.
Such is the extraordinary power of painting because everything becomes possible, no clear-cut answer is possible.
Everyone will see the imaginary world created by the artist through a different prism, the eye, his internal camera will allow him to feel the scenes differently.
The Storytelling Art creates works in movement in which are involved the mind and the sense of the spectator and it is in that also that this pictorial movement is innovative.
Storytelling Art projects the viewer into a story that he can follow or appropriate.
"I never exhibit my work, I come to tell a story to the public ....

Presentation
Marc Ferrero is one of the few contemporary painters who says that painting can still explore new avenues and extend, through the power of imagination graphic adventures of the last century, which was the richest in terms of pictorial research. The work of Marc Ferrero and the movement of Storytelling Art continues to intrigue because it has features that are not found anywhere else: The fictional stories that take us around the world and refer to all kinds of cultures, of invented characters, true mirrors of the collective aspirations of our time. A new mix- ture of all kinds of graphics on the same plane that change the space-time notions of pictorial field. A game between narrative carvings and varying plans that allow each Work of Art to be the pretext for an extraordinary adventure.
Living with Marc Ferrero Art offers compelling stories to your walls and enlarge the spaces following in the footsteps of Lisa L'aventura, Spencer Percival Duke and Cello Cordoba on an adventure that is called: "Once upon a time the Comitive ".
An unexpected return of the oil painting, ideal for creating scripted environments and generating suspense by color. It is tempting to look for the source of this singular style in the life of Marc Ferrero, self taught, an Argentine Italian father and a French mother, he stop his studies at 16 and went in search of the world. At an age when some begin their artistic learning in art schools, he accumulated life experiences and encounters with characters from all backgrounds.
On crossing Morocco and Spain, hitchhiking to the edge of the lagoon of Assinie in Côte d'Ivoire, cheap hotels in Istanbul's old city of Kyoto, sleep- less nights on the Riviera, mists of Brussels, it is natural to see in the work of Marc Ferrero influences an adventurous life populated by extraordinary characters, and the temptation would be great to overshadow an essential part of his career, his pas- sion for painting. He is not positioned at the head of a new pictorial movement without great knowledge of painting and major developments that have marked its history. His Artworks are in the most important private collections all over the world.
