Biography
Fausto Croci was born in Genoa on November 21, 1966, his artistic experience began at an early age in elementary school under the protective wing of maestro Leale Francesco, a famous caricaturist (cartoonist for La Stampa. National edition) and artist.
He later attended the academy of fine arts, presided over and directed by master Renzo Roncarolo, one of the most renowned painters from Vercelli and beyond between the 70s and 80s.
After this period of initiation into art, he continued his artistic journey, as an autodidact.
He currently signs his works with the name Emelin.
His expressive style follows the purest informal canons, permeated by instinctive and material gestures.
Almost all of his works are made in mixed media and on various supports, allowing him to create artifacts that are always extremely original and innovative.
Innovation, evocation, and experimentation are the hallmarks of his artistic production.
He has participated in various collective and solo exhibitions.
He lives and works in Vercelli.
