Carine Joiris

Born in Liège, Belgium in 1967, a graduate of the St Luc Art School, Carine Joiris has explored dancing before discovering her talent for painting. Since her first solo show in 1998, she has won several prizes and has had numerous exhibitions in France and in Italy.

Her love for art took her all over the world, and during her trips she discovered art and nature. During her trips, different colors, light and beings revealed to her and became her sources of inspiration. She magnifies her through her gaze, she is the choreographer of her brushes on the canvas.

Some of her paintings are truly fascinating. They attract and capture the eye with magnetic force. Each painting or totem is a small bit of something else. She lets us reinvent the story around her works, in time and space. Her painting is color, light, texture, matter. It is sensitive and sensual. It is movement and time suspended, everything at once...
