I am releasing the Artist's Proofs Exhibition from my AQUA exhibition which I opened in 2018 at our Gallery in 156 Wooster Street in New York City.
The Anthony Horth Gallery features the photography of Anthony Horth and other guest artists focused on addressing environmental issues through art. The Durst Organization is one of the oldest commercial real estate companies in New York City.
After the opening of the Gallery the exhibition moved to 1133 Sixth Avenue, The Avenue of the Americas to the Foyer of The Durst Corporation Principal Building, Headquarters of Steinway Pianos and Bank of America. It was on permanent exhibition there from January 16th to May 16th 2019. Then the Exhibit moved to New York Hall of Science in Queens New York to an International exhibition of weather-inspired art by SciArt Initiative. The exhibit ran from September 10, 2019- January 10, 2020.
These artists proofs are now in our warehouse in Brooklyn New York and are available exclusively direct from the artist for handsomely discounted end of exhibit prices exclusively through ARTSPER. These are unique pieces and only one of each.
The images are Dye Sublimation Metal prints. Dye Sublimation Prints (or Metal Prints), are a new medium where dyes are directly transferred into the aluminum. The result is stunning with vibrant color and a unique dimensional quality. Sublimation is the process of a solid turning to gas and back to solid. We print with dyes onto unique transfer paper, then heat the paper and specially coated metal with high pressure and temperature in our custom press.
Dye sublimation prints are durable because the dyes are below the coated surface, resulting in a fade and scratch resistant piece. The aluminum (.045 thickness) can stand alone, be backed with any of our substrates, braced or framed.
