Cana

Cana was born in 1979 in Strasbourg. Self-taught was fascinated, he began to paint in 2004. On the base of all its works, the labyrinth. Each can find a sense there, we cannot find there that a single exit. With a recognizable style between all, he offers an accessible and pleasant paint.

He realizes his works in the acrylic paint, often with his colors of preference, the black, the red, the white. The sought purpose is to divert the images, to make an unstable destruction of the popular icons, to suggest the movement. Inspired by the Pop art cultures and Street Art, he proposes a way, often architectural, by and through his labyrinths. The maze makes of its whole work a rarely motionless unity: by suggesting an attitude, the action which gets free of it is.
