"Painting is never innocent, the theme and the subject are only a pretext to reveal a personality, a sensitivity." I want to do a simple, refined painting, in which people will perceive my sincerity;
a painting without cheating. A simplicity that is not devoid of strength. Simplicity without sentimentality.
When I paint, it is certain that I am happy; happy to do what I believe in but that does not prevent doubt, questioning.
That's what keeps me going."
