Strongly influenced by science fiction, fantasy cinema and sociology, he develops a hybrid world strewn with references and naturalistic codes in which alien, human and robotic creatures attempt to coexist. Other skin colors, similar mechanisms.
Behaviors, physical and moral transformations, and social struggles are the backdrops of her works constantly fueled by research work on feminist issues, on identity minorities, the image of monstrosity and therefore, momentum. insurrection that ensues.
The various mediums such as mural painting (Muralism / Graffiti) and on canvas, video, photography, special effects make-up, installation and more recently tattooing are all tools and transmitting supports allowing him to develop a mutant reflection.

Works in prints from La Fleuj
Presentation
Originally coming from planet X, La Fleuj is an autodidact xenomorphic plastician working with different means like painting, sculpture, video film and special effect makeup. His works draw bridges between multiple Sci-Fi universes and subjects related to various contemporary society.
Together with the Graffiti scene that he developed at the end of the 90s, he took a course in artistic makeup in 2003 helping him to work and collaborate with a number of artists from various fields such as cinematography, photography, music, video clips, theatre as well as opera scenes.
He graduated with a Diploma of BPJEPS ("Brevet professionnel de la jeunesse, de l'éducation populaire et du sport"), and has worked as a social worker in the socio-cultural area for about 10 years. He participated in the creation of artistic and cultural projects with people living in France and West Africa. He is also the creator and the artistic director of La Sauce Production, a multidisciplinary artistic platform which gathers artists, muralists, videographers, makeup artists and artisans. The association conducts workshops through partnership and audiovisual collaborations.
The first series that started in 2009 has shaped his identity of having an artistic practice always on the move. With an explicit approach, from a violent and uncomfortable flesh and organic perspective, he builds the foundations of his works by interrogating physical and moral transformation, whether it is submitted, assimilated or whether it is accepted. His “gueules-cassées" mainly painted on walls (in abandoned factories) or on canvas, question the maker of “monster" in our contemporary society – how was the “monster" born, how to define it and what exactly its role is in the world that constantly mutates and cracks all around?
In 2013 in Ouagadougou, and just one year before the population riots in Burkina Faso, he decided to direct the movie “Segtaab Rap Au pays des hommes intègres" mainly based on music and testimonials from European and West African rappers.
In 2014 he continued his reflection using new hybrid characters. Using the image of the erotic prism, La Fleuj created a world of Sci-Fi multiculturalism by interrogating the role of the watcher and his imposed voyeurism against the intimacy of mutant creatures, aliens or sexed androids which fully undertake their acts and orientations. The series called “She Live" showed the will of making the coexistence possible between reality and imagination where the main intention is to focus on the movement through the [setting] – as similar as an invitation to penetrate intimacy.
