"The first merit of a painting must be a feast for the eye"
Making Eugène Delacroix's phrase her own, this artist gives us to see luminous, colorful works, with the accent of the south of France where she is from.
Freed from an academic education received at the Avignon School of Art, she has now chosen to work alone in the silence of her studio.
In front of a blank canvas or a piece to be sculpted, she surrenders to her passion. His spontaneity, his imagination then guide his brushes and his hands with a lot of energy.
This artist does not want to lock herself into a particular style or artistic movement to keep her freedom of creation intact.
For more than 20 years, she has been constantly researching to satisfy her artistic curiosity and avoid boredom in repetitive gestures.
Far from scattering, she enriches herself by discovering different techniques and materials. She thus offers us various and varied works, sometimes abstract or figurative, in Indian ink, pastel, acrylic, oil for painting and works in clay, bronze, resin, stone for sculpture.
However, she retains a certain consistency in her work through the choice of light subjects and shimmering colors, driven by her philosophy of life, her enthusiasm and Anatole France's phrase "The artist must love life and show us that it is beautiful Without him, we would doubt it"
This listed artist (I-CAC) exhibits in major international fairs. As a result, her works are found in private homes in Europe but also in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Reunion, the United States.
