Art Compensa is a cultural space that brings together well-known artists and those who have yet to be discovered, uniting timeless classics and art experiments. There are no requirements regarding expressions, topics or genres, so the art fair provides visitors with the connection between traditional and contemporary art. Art Compensa aims to change the perception of art accessibility for the public by directly collaborating with artists and their buyers. By hosting their gathering in an independent art space, it provides visitors with the opportunity to purchase artists' works at affordable prices and offers artists a comprehensive presentation of their work. By collaborating with Art Compensa, you become the contributor to the festival's art fund and gain access to a service package for one year.
The 3rd International ART FAIR ART COMPENSA is scheduled to take place in Lithuania from May 24th to May 26th, 2024. This year, the Art Compensa team is expanding the format by organizing an international art festival, that will gather talended artists from Lithuania and neighboring countries.
Our motto is “Art Compensates!”. At the 2500-square-meter Compensa Concert Hall, the fair showcases paintings, graphics, sculptures, ceramics, and photography. With over fifty artists presenting their work, all applications undergo a selection process by a jury composed of art experts and critics. Art education, behind-the-scenes glimpses from artists’ studios, excursions and contests – this is just a short list of entertainment that awaits visitors during the fair. The Art Compensa Art Fair helps artists to be seen and discovered by the public and gives visitors the opportunity to experience the delight of purchasing and collecting art, thus to broaden their cultural horizons.
The art fair is followed by the sattelite exibitions in Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga throughout the year. The unique artwork pieces from the Art Compensa fund can be purchased via the online gallery paveikslaitau.lt
