PICTURA

Created at the end of 2014 on the initiative of a group of artists formed into an association, the Galerie Pictura is located in the immediate vicinity of the pedestrian center of the city and presents around ten exhibitions a year made up of guest artists and permanent artists. from the gallery. The guest artists are mostly from the Grand Est region of France and are selected by the permanent collective. Painting, sculpture, photography and design are presented there in a space of nearly 50m² opening out largely onto the street. A space that is enjoying growing success with the Besançon public, a place that has won the confidence and enthusiasm of the public by highlighting the various trends in contemporary art, in a quality requirement. In 2017, the Pictura group became the artistic organizer of the Biennale des Arts Plastiques de Besançon.
