Biography
Louis Jammes was born in 1958 in Carcassonne. In the early 1980s, at the dawn of his career, he immortalized the artists of his personal pantheon, those who inspired his career such as members of the Beat Generation, Andy Warhol, Lou Reed, then his relatives, free figuration nascent and those of his generation: Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Robert Combas, or even Julian Schnabel, in a decor he designed evoking their work. Louis Jammes gradually seeks to explore the world through his lens, to reflect the present time.
