Photographie Minimaliste
L'art “minimaliste", ou minimal, découle du mouvement de l'abstraction. Né dans les années 1960, l'art “minimaliste" est d'abord un mouvement pictural mais s'étend rapidement aux autres médiums artistiques, et à la photographie notamment. Si la peinture et la sculpture se concentrent sur la matérialité de l'objet en lui-même, la photographie minimaliste opte quant à elle pour une approche différente, se concentrant au contraire sur le détail, et rien que le détail comme chez Jean-Yves Goujard ou Joseph Sobel. Toutefois, d'autres comme Richard Caldicott ou NumericEric donnent un aspect pictural à leurs photographies en se concentrant sur la couleur uniquement.
