Paule Bernard Roussel builds a visual and olfactory Eden where everything lends itself to observation, reverie, and creation, because this place is the entrance to his studio and also the dreamlike universe of his painting. We travel there between fabulous gardens, fantastic cities, meadows, deserts, seas and skies, a world far from the crowds, populated by pets where fish fly but also cars, trees, and houses. All of these little worlds are filled with poetry, humor, hope, wisdom and harmony. His style is imbued with multiple influences ranging from classical painting to Surrealism, flirting with the Naive without ever restricting himself to it.
