Exhibition at the Martine Ehmer Gallery. Vernissage on January 11. From 12/01 to 17/02/2019, Thursday to Sunday, 11 am-6pm. Since 2009, the photographer has taken an uncompromising but not devoid of gentleness look at a reality that many still refuse to see: climatic disturbances. And today, she surprises in that she composes a photographic series in black and white of pure attention to her environment, to human beings and to the animals which are connected to it. The series La Montée des Eaux does not weigh itself down with explanatory pedagogy or cheap moral considerations to say "no" to the nightmare of final annihilation. In a heady sweetness, she imposes a gaze with sensitive and magnetic acuity. In its tiniest jolts, its ascetic beauty, its silent revolt is the sign of a possible (re) birth into the world, another step. Hic et nunc, faces never sleep. Notes, Sylvia Botella, January 2019
