Paolo Zavattaro (ZAC)

Paolo Zavattaro, aka "ZAC", was born in Vercelli on 13/07/70, he attended the technical institute as a draftsman but then the art took over the technique. Self-taught, he starts with the first approaches with the canvases and brushes with the figurative. After the period we say of "novitiate", he begins to take an interest in and study the histrionic and varied world of contemporary painting, for this he begins to work headlong, trying to experience new things, his works are affected by various influences of contemporary painting, but they absolutely do not want to be the copy of some other artist. Each work is the result of a selection from colors spiritual and research of the soul. At first, he gives the importance of the materials and the possibility of expressing oneself without artistic fetters. Behind his work, there is the study of the great works of timeless masters, from futurism to cubism up to the conceptual.
