Born in France in 1973, his inspirations are essentially drawn from the horse world, fascinated by both the explosive power and the refined elegance of the animal, sometimes - and more and more often - associated in his compositions with delicate feminine characters, like a reminiscence of the scenes lived during the first twenty years of his life in close contact with the horses.
The use of acrylic paint combined with black stone allows it a very graphic gesture, which is not without reminding us of the preparatory drawings of Leonardo da Vinci. Contemporary masters like Claude Weisbuch and the sculptor and designer Jean-Louis Sauvat inspired him and the artist will also be very young, - a singular contrast - touched and influenced by the powerful warrior horses of Rubens just as much as by the grace of the Madonnas of Botticelli.
