The alchemists of the sensitive
From March 1, 2023 to May 3, 2023
Born in 1985 in the north of France, Léa Habourdin began her career at the Estienne school and then at the ENSP in Arles, where she studied printmaking and photography. Fascinated by the world and the organization of different forms of life, her images reflect a desire to depict nature according to several paradigms that resonate with our way of understanding the wild. To this end, the artist draws on fields such as ethology, applied science research and botany in a combination of photographs and drawings.
Her work has been awarded many times, including the Carte Blanche PMU - le BAL in 2015, the CIPGP research grant in 2019, and the CNAP creation grant in 2020. In 2022, "Images-forêts: des mondes en extension" was the subject of a solo exhibition at the Rencontres d'Arles.
