Anna Rinzo weaves by hand. She uses various textile materials gleaned from her family and close circle, and various plants and fibers.
Biography
Anna Rinzo is a French artist.
She studied textile crafts in Duperré, Paris, and costume design. She obtained a master's degree in theoretical theater at the University of Paris 8.
She exhibited at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Governors Island, New York City during the group exhibition organized by The Urban Soil Institute in November 2022 and participated in a group exhibition at Glory Apparel, New York City in January 2023.
She has been in permanent artistic residency at La Briche de Saint-Denis since 2020, was in artistic residency at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council art center on Governors Island, New York City in 2022, and participated in the Kafila artistic residency, in March 2023, organized by the French Institute of Morocco, Mhamid el Ghizlane in Ouarzazate.
In parallel with her activity as an artist, she works as a costume designer for the theater, cabaret and the Paris Opera.
