“I have a passion for creating sculptures, I graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, I am interested in exploring traditional sculpture of the language of modeling and relevant sculpture space. In creating a breakthrough in the traditional, I try many ways to combine traditional and contemporary. “Inheriting and integrating the elements of traditional sculpture into a language of contemporary sculpture” is what I continued to pursue. My creation must be based on reality, but in the meantime, it cannot be sticky to reality. In my many artworks, not only have figurative realism sculptures, but also have influence on minimalist style, meanwhile, I am inspired by the pattern of ancient Chinese stelae and stone relief. In the creative process, when I am faced with different sculpture themes, the media I select and the way I create are all diverse. When I concentrate on my work creation, I am usually absorbed in a supreme status, I will fully feel the space of body shape and in-depth interpretation of Chinese cultures, ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, other civilizations and contemporary art, to select the most coherent media to express. I think the creative artworks I have made need to be refined internally and externally: the interiority that we can understand as themes, concept, ideology; the externality that we can understand as works of art present forms, effects, media. The characteristic of the arts must be personalized, but also the importance of consensus. Creation is the artist's business, which not everyone can understand, but it must be a consensus of social boundary.
